Papercut Silver Embroidered Challah Cover by Yair Emanuel Be the first one to write a review
The design is based on the combination of traditional classical motifs , the inspiration of ancient Jewish manuscripts, and modern and oriental ones. This creates a "new old" look. This challah cover, which is made from silver threads, is inspired by the tradition of Jewish paper cuts. It is beautifully decorated with a paper-cut style floral pattern. Written on it are the words from the prophet Isaiah, "Vekarata Lashabbat Oneg", “And you shall call the Shabbat a day of enjoyment.”
This is your perfect gift for Shabbat, Jewish holidays, a new home, or any other simcha.
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. His art is based upon a fusion of traditional motifs and ancient Jewish manuscripts with modern and oriental art.
