The Beit Hamikdash stood in Jerusalem for 500 years until it was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE, and then again from 516 BCE, until it was burned by the Romans in 70 CE. This is a model of the Second Temple during Roman times. Made by Reuven Masel as part of his synagogues around the world collection.
