Moroccan Ram's Horn Shofar Be the first one to write a review
The shape and sound of a Moroccan shofar is the way that shofars were in Spain before the expulsion. This flatter Shofar is also a rams horn. The process for this shofar is lengthier and more complex than other Shofars. Traditionally used by The North African Jewish population for generation, with traces even prior to the Spanish Inquisition. Its unique shape allowed it to be hidden under their garments.
This exceptionally well-crafted shofar is beautiful and produces a clear sound. It also makes a meaningful gift for both Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah. Available in 2 different sizes.
Shofars are handcrafted in Israel and pre-tested for ease of use. All are certified kosher.
Measures 13.75" - 15.75" and 15.75" x 17.75". Listed size is approximate, measurement from tip to tip, around the curve. Color and shape vary.
