Yad LaKashish was created to offer these struggling seniors an opportunity to once again become contributing members of society. Program participants receive on-the-job training by professional artists and become part of a team in their designated craft, and beyond that, of a community of fellow elderly artisans. Together, they produce a wide array of items and the proceeds of which are invested back into their operation.
